Mac Informer shows wrong version

I have two users installed, 1 Admin, 1 Standard with no admin rights (under OS X 10.7.5). I normally work with the Standard user. For program-updates I change to the admin user. The applications folder is on the top level, giving all users access to all programs.
Yesterday I updated a number of programs and deleted a few from the Informer's update list. Today this is all shown correctly when running as admin. However, running Informer from the standard user, everything is shown as if I hadn't touched anything. Even when I ask Informer to update the list, it still shows the status before yesterday's updates. E.g. I have updated "Adobe Digital Editions" from v1.7 to v.2.0.67275. I can check and it is really this version which is available in the applications folder. I have deleted the old version from the Mac. Nevertheless, Informer running from the Standard user is still telling me that the current version is 1.7 and that I should update to version 2. The same applies to other programs which I have updated. What is the use of the "Check for updates"-command if it ignores the updates?

Update: After being away for 3 hours the list has been updated.
However, I discovered something new:
I have QuicKeys 4.0.7 (131) installed. The version number is shown exactly as in the program's info-panel. However, Informer tells me that I have 4.0.7 installed and that I should update to 4.0.7.131 - obviously the version which is installed and running.
